Scott has served as Technical Service Manager for all Artist Pianos locations since 1997 and as Manager of the Syracuse store since 2009. Alex joined our technical service staff in 2014, performing new piano preparation, tuning, regulation, and action restoration. A musician since 1984 and twice nominated for a local music award, Brian is a songwriter, guitarist, lyricist and arranger. With over a decade of electronics repair experience, Brian has transposed his repair skills to piano technology, preparation, maintenance and repair. A long-time friend and band mate of Scott Schroeter, he is a welcome addition to the Artist Pianos family.
In his long career Kenneth has been fortunate to tune for some famous musicians including Tony Bennett, James Taylor, Donnie Milsap, Don Henley, the Eagles, Barry Manilow, and many more. Kenneth graduated with two diplomas: a New York State Regents diploma and a Piano Tuning Certificate from the New York State School for the Blind in Batavia, New York. Squirrely and Puddin', brother and sister, were born in mid October, 2023. Our Syracuse store adopted them in late November, 2023. They take up the mantle from Sybil Marie Delux (RIP) and Shatan (RIP), both of whom lived here between 2000 - 2022. Sybil Marie Delux, our beloved store kitty, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 17, 2022. Sybil made her home at Artist Pianos from the time she was a tiny kitten. She was found abandoned in our dumpster area. We took her in, and simply could not let her leave. For the 22 years she lived in the piano store, she was very much loved by a wide variety of people including the staff, students, teachers and visitors. We will miss her. Kieran was inspired one day to repair his family's aging piano, beginning a journey that would lead him to apprentice under the President of the local Piano Technicians Guild.
