Our distinguished Institutional Sales Manager has an interesting musical background, including touring as a professional drummer with folk-rock artist Andy Pratt in the 1970’s. Frank has over 25 years experience designing acoustic spaces and installing the highest level audio equipment. His unique knowledge of acoustics, combined with his knowledge of Steinway, Boston, and Essex pianos make him an asset for schools, churches, and venues in selecting pianos.

Joe draws on over 30 years of experience as a professional musician and uses the latest piano education technology to teach all styles of popular music, focusing on each student's favorite music. In order to offer maximum flexibility, Joe's gives one-hour lessons every other week, enabling students to accomplish more during the lesson and have more time to practice between lessons.
In his long career Kenneth has been fortunate to tune for some famous musicians including Tony Bennett, James Taylor, Donnie Milsap, Don Henley, the Eagles, Barry Manilow, and many more. Kenneth graduated with two diplomas: a New York State Regents diploma and a Piano Tuning Certificate from the New York State School for the Blind in Batavia, New York. He has been a Craftsman member of the Piano Technicians Guild since 1967, and he was one of the Guild's original Certified Tuning Examiners. He was recently featured in 55 plus magazine.
Edward Mastin, RPT
Ed has been tuning for the last fifteen years, and is a registered member of the Piano Technician Guild. He trained "on the job" with fellow members of the Guild including our own Kenneth Williams, RPT. Used and Vintage pianos are a specialty, and Ed has refurbished several hundred pianos in his career. At any given time, he has a couple of old pianos at home taking up the dining room awaiting restoration. Ed's face might also be familiar to some as he has a concurrent career as an actor in the Syracuse theater community.
Sybil and Shatan
Sybil and Shatan were born in the dumpster area behind the store. Their brothers and sisters were all spayed, neutered and placed in the loving homes of our students and customers, while Sybil and Shatan were determined to stay here with us. These two friendly, loving animals have NEVER jumped on a single piano. They seem to know that their happy home here depends on them showing no interest at all in the instruments. Artist Pianos is proud to have trapped, spayed, neutered and found adoptive homes for over fifty feral cats and kittens.
